ChaLEAN Extreme Round Two!

Yes ladies and gentlemen I am back again and ready to get EXTREME! I'm all healed up and have the ok to go back to weight training but I have to of course listen to my body so I don't re-injure myself.

This round I am tweeking the program a bit. Instead of the CE cardio 2 days a week, I am going to do intervals 3 days a week using Workout Muse Continuous 30-30's. My schedule will look like this:

Monday: Burn 1
Tuesday: Intervals
Wednesday: Burn 2
Thursday: Intervals & Ab Burner
Friday: Burn 3
Saturday: Intervals
Sunday: Rest

Here's the cardio I'll be using: http://www.workoutmuse.com/products/fitness-enthusiasts

I will be posting my before pics later this week, for now here are my beginning stats and update video!

Loving my Texas tan! Here are my stats:

Starting Weight: 159.2lbs
Starting Body Fat%: 26.9%
Starting Lean Body Mass: 116.4lbs
Starting Fat Mass: 42.8lbs
Starting Chest: 37in
Starting Arm: 11.5in
Starting Waist: 30in
Starting Abdomen: 35in
Starting Hips: 38.5in
Starting Thigh: 21.5in
Starting Calf: (L)15in (R)14.5in

I completed Burn 1 this morning and MAN have I missed these workouts! I am focusing this time on really contracting the muscles which although it causes me to have to lift lighter than I did my first time, it'll ensure that I'm really building the right muscles up (my glutes especially are hard to engage)

Well anywho that's all for now, I will return later on in the week to post my starting pics!

Blessings,

Kassandra

Weekly update!

Ok lots of changes this week. First of all I'm injured. I've jacked up my hip flexors pretty badly so I've been prescribed 2-4 weeks of light cardio only. The problem is rooted in my weak hip flexors and dormant glutes. Long story short, my other leg muscles take over what my glutes should be doing which explains my knee pain as well.

So I figured sincw my intensity will be going down, why not do a little experiement as well? Several subscribers have asked my opinion of the Fat Smash Diet. Well I don't like to give opinions on things I haven't read or tried so I purchased the Extreme Fat Smash book from Amazon. I like what I've read so far so I decided to do a rotation and see what kind of results I get! I started today and I like it so far. :)

This weeks update, I'm down 5 of the 8 lbs I gained last week so that's good. I honestly have no idea where they went because I've been eating HORRIBLY LOL! I also gained a half inch on my bottom so that's a big plus! Maybe all the food went to my booty LOL!

Well anyway, here's my update video! Enjoy!

Caleb's 1st Birthday

Part 2!

Caleb's 1st Birthday

Part 1

Confession Time: I'm Too Comfortable

I have a confession to make. It's something I've known about myself for several weeks now but am just now truly coming to grips with it. I've allowed myself to become comfortable at my current weight.

I've lost over 80lbs to date. I'm wearing a size 8 and some 6's. I'm no longer overweight. My BMI is healthy. My waist to hip ratio is acceptable. My body fat percentage is in the upper 20's which is much better than the national average. I look really nice in my clothes. My legs, arms, chest, and back are fairly lean. In general, I look pretty decent.

HOWEVER I still have the mommy pooch! And frankly, I've become rather complacent and almost accepting of it. But I don't WANT it! Up until this point my big motivator has been not liking the way I look. No let me correct that, HATING the way I looked! Now that I don't hate how I look, it's time for me to get a new WHY, a new challenge, a new goal.

I have about 15 or so pound to go to reach my desired body fat percentage. I need to recommit. I've been really thinking about competing in a fitness competition but hubby is not on board with the idea and frankly neither am I entirely. Maybe if you could compete is a suit that didn't have your booty all out there lol but the glutes are of course part of the judging process.

So anyway, I think my next goal will be to get in competition level shape. Just knowing I could compete is enough for me lol.

Also I start a new at home job soon (YAY ME!) so I really need to keep my workouts in check. Thankfully Fit Yummy Mummy makes that easy!

Another anouncement! Mr Caleb is officially 1 year old! His birthday was Wednesday. No more formul, no more baby food. Soon he'll be getting married and having a little Mr. Mischief of his own. Times flies too fast!!!

Well enough for now, off to do my workout!

Blessings,

Kassandra
